Inflection – Review

Inflection is a truly musical work of electronic art. With its many layers and guises this album has a lovely crossover appeal, though it’s also diverse and underground too. The album covers Deep house, upfront house, jazzy vibes, drum n bass along with breaks here and there.

One of the highlights is Antidote a big sounding vocal track for the dancefloor. The breakdown is big, long lasting and really works. When the bass kicks in, it grinds and builds to an almighty crescendo. There’s a fair chunk of drum n bass taking up the last part of the album with Landscape being a deep, jazzy, and quite simply delightful masterpiece that has intensity as well as delicacy in abundance. Watch out also for Amethyst Nights a proper drum n bass mover that has lots of energy and mellowness.

This debut album has something for everyone, every occasion and is so well thought out and produced. Paul Jeremy is about to be heard, watch this space!

Play has been played on BBC introducing Manchester Radio show in December 2021 and also chosen for October’s Top submissions for the renowned XLR8R!
